A digital service created to support isolated patients by bringing voice messages and playlists from their friends and family together on one playable digital audio album.

Rock Pool

Inspector Sands

Rock Pool is an audio adaptation of Inspector Sands’ successful stage show - winner of Sprout! Commission. It is a funny and touching series with songs for 4-7 year olds and their families/carers.

Dealing with themes of isolation, boredom, upheaval, overcoming difference and the climate crisis. It’s a sort of crustacean Waiting for Godot for kids.

Imaginary Advice

Ross Sutherland

The Imaginary Advice podcast is a sketchpad for new ideas and new ways of telling stories. Some stories are true, some are fiction, some are closer to audio essays. Most episodes end up being a blend of all three.

Featured artists include Kim Noble, Vanessa Kisulle and Emmy the Great

Curio

Savinder Bual and Elena Blanco 

Curio is an ambient light installation and portable museum. Curious passersby can peer through letterboxes to discover objects contributed by our neighbours. 

Commissioned by Farnham Maltings, Bristol City Council, Illuminate Light Festival and funded by Arts Council England.

Visit

Visit was a programme of bespoke performances which traveled to people who find it difficult to get out and about. Commissioned artists: Josie Long, Gary McNair, Molly Taylor, Tam Dean Burn, Wounded Knee.

Festival Detours
